It has been surprisingly (for me) not too difficult in achieving one of my main goals of doing ReSet. However I have been reflecting on what the means for when these 4 weeks are over. Knowing the addictive personality that I have, I'm not sure whether I will be able to reintroduce sweets, crisps or cake back into my diet. I'm not sure I am capable of having some in moderation. If I can't, then I will need to make a decision of whether I have to cut it out for the rest of my life. Sounds drastic, but it may be my reality. Time will tell, but it feels great knowing that I have been able to do it for just this short time.
So with week 1 being over, I weighed myself this morning and here is my result...
6lbs off!!! (oh! and a quarter!)
Mega chuffed!! Hubby also lost 5lbs this week, so we are 11lbs (and a quarter) lighter this week than we were last.
So here we are, heading in to week 2. If someone had told me I could lose weight, feel healthier, have more energy whilst eating full fat dairy produce, eating some carbs, nuts and pretty much all the things that other diets I have tried tell me not to eat, I would never have believed you. Note: this is not a diet, it's a lifestyle choice. It's clearly working for me, let's be positive and keep the motivation going!
